Engelbert Humperdinck is a consummate entertainer. A performer since the 50’s, his career really took off in the UK in the 60’s with a string of hit singles including two number ones. In 1967, at the height of Beatlemania, he was the UK’s biggest selling artist of the year. In the 70’s he relocated to the USA and became one of the most successful concert performers of all time. His global album sales are in excess of 100 million records, he’s won a Golden Globe as “Entertainer Of The Year” (1988) and has four Grammy nominations.This live concert was recorded at the LA Forum in 1998 and is a companion release to a live album, which is released by Eagle Records.The concert includes the hit singles Quando, Quando, Quando and the #1 Release Me along with a host of live favourites such as After The Lovin’ and Can’t Take Me Eyes Off Of You, all delivered in Humperdinck’s inimitable style.
